This wizard will help you to:

  • Send emails via SendGrid
  • Get notification on bounces, complaints and other different notification types

Steps to Setup SendGrid with OfficeClip:

Set up the SendGrid Account

  1. If you do not have an SendGrid account, create a SendGrid account in SendGrid
  2. Upon creating a new account you will need to activate the account.
  3. When the account is setup, you can now be able to see API Key ID Go to Settings > Mail Settings to find API Key
  4. Check SMTP Details for creating the SMTP connection.
  5. Use the same SMTP Server name, Username and Password in the Initial Setup to integrate SendGrid with OfficeClip.

Setup SendGrid for Notifications

  1. In SendGrid, Click on Profile and then on Acocunt Settings.
  2. In REST API, click on Event notifications.
  3. Select the events you want to track and specify the endpoint URL which is available in Webhook step in this wizard.
  4. At the bottom click on the Save button.

Notes regarding SendGrid and Notifications

  1. These steps will be explained in each wizard steps when you click Next.
  2. SendGrid monitors all type of emails which can be seen in Stats option in SendGrid.
  3. SendGrid also restricts the quota which is expalined in detail in SendGrid sending policy. You can find this at the bottom of the page in SendGrid application.
